Sneh Jagriti Foundation is a charitable Institution (NGO: Regd. No. E/6907/2007) established in the memory of Late Dr.Snehlata Indwar, an educationist, to serve unprivileged, under-privileged, marginalized and the poor segment of the Indian society, irrespective of caste, creed or religion.

Since Independence, both Central and State governments have embarked upon massive welfare programmes for the down-trodden in urban and rural India but it has resulted in a marginal relief to an average Indian. The Gap between Rich and Poor has widened and over seventy percent of Indian population still survives in poverty, below poverty line and women and children are badly exploited. With agriculture, unheeding to their needs, even the semi-skilled and skilled man-force has remained under-utilized. The need is to survey and produce skilled-force, phase-wise and alleviate unemployment and poverty. As such literacy and education is the basic need of most Indians.

As country's large proportion of population is illiterate, uneducated and poor, the Foundation has the following Programme to uplift and upgrade them:

The above Education package is to help the drop-outs and regular education-goers. The Foundation has a DATA BANK of quality-education Schools and Institutions, offering Technical, Vocational and Professional courses through Distance Learning in India . Provided the States cooperate to introduce this package, possibly in different segments, as per their priority, it will help those, who need it most. It is a Rock -Operation India to speedily empower the Indian mass facing the torture and exploitation for so many decades.
